Happy Fourth of July

It was strange that it was the fourth of July and no one was celebrating around us. There were no flags or potato salad or long hikes. Instead I walked around the Jewish quarter and took pictures of synagogues and put prayers in the Western Wall.

But our staff of chefs made an incredible dinner for us with all our favorite American foods: Corn on the cob, apple pie, baked potatoes, hamburgers and way too much ice cream.

This night ended in a dance party, which is the way every holiday should end in my opinion. Our group is all about ending every party with a dance and I love it. And the group loves my dance moves. It's a good feeling haha. Everyone sang the Star Spangled Banner at the top of their lungs.
